Following this step, we take a photograph if there are any special requests for a photo of the final product. It’s understandable that when ordering online, the opportunity to physically see the flowers before they leave the shop isn’t possible, hence why we recommend adding in this request in our “special delivery/instructions” box. Once the flowers are delivered to the recipient, you will receive an email notification to let you know your gift has arrived. In the event that no one is home to receive the flowers, the driver will consider the safest option for leaving the flowers. Usually we consider flowers safe to leave if it is under shelter and not easily seen or accessible from the street. If the flowers are left by the door, the driver will call or text the recipient or the number provided with the order to let them know the flowers have been left by the door. If it is deemed unsafe to leave, the driver will contact our instore team to work out the next best possible solution. The driver may try the neighbour, if appropriate to do so, having ruled out all options, they will bring back to store while we determine the next appropriate step.
